My public yoga classes empower you to connect with your inner teacher through a guided process of inquiry and exploration. Together we’ll explore optimal alignment as a practice of deep and compassionate listening. By combining flowing, dance-like sequences with long holds and strength & flexibility training, my yoga classes help you cultivate a balance between effort and surrender, on and off the mat. Together, we create a sacred space where you can offer your practice as an artistic expression from your heart. Practical, grounded yogic philosophy, anchored in the wisdom of the body, guides our unfolding.
My yoga classes in Berkeley and Oakland are open to students of all levels of ability and experience. Modifications are always offered, and each student is encouraged to take class at his or her own pace. Come as you are, and open to the fresh weight loss possibilities of the moment…
